The company in question is based in Madrid, currently located near the Fuenlabrada commercial area, and has been in operation for over 40 years under the same name selling lingerie, socks and stockings and notions on a wholesale basis. Due to a lack of generational turnover, the current owner is considering selling off the entire company.
Operating in the form of an S.A., over the last two-year period the company has reported turnover in the amount of 28 (2013) and 29 (2014) million Euros, an essentially steady EBIT of approximately 1.8 million Euros annually and a positive net financial position. The results from the first 10 months of 2015 are essentially in line with previous performance as well.
To carry out its commercial operations, the company counts on an overall workforce of an average of 45 employees and several brands that are not available from other wholesale outlets for which it holds exclusive distribution rights. The company maintains several of its own warehouses covering an area of 7,000 square meters operating on a self-service basis, with a team of 38 specialized employees to aid customers in making their choices; the client base is composed primarily of several thousand retailers and itinerant sellers. The sales system is rounded out by a network of sales representatives. A component of the workforce also has experience dealing with customers abroad, who make up almost 15% of the annual turnover.
